Become a Pilates Trainer

Pilates training is a holistic training for the whole body, which strengthens the body core, improves posture and counteracts restrictions in the musculoskeletal system. The Pilates concept is therefore ideal for prevention and rehabilitation and, as basic training, for a strong trunk and back.

The Studio.12 training team has more than 20 years of experience in educating Pilates trainers. The trainers who have been certified by us can teach a Pilates course competently and expertly according to the basic principles and offer adequate alternatives for participants with limitations. We train you to succeed as an instructor.

The Training

contains 38 teaching units in four days. A detailed manual with photos of the Pilates mat exercises and the respective exercise variants will be handed out. You will also receive a certificate of participation after you passed your exam.

Dates

Training in two modules: Start November 2024

november 16th & 17th :
Pilates mat training basics and anatomy

January 11th & 12th
Intensive training day including exercise variations

Pilates using small equipment items (such as a ball or foam roller), exam preparation and theoretical exam in form of a written test.Pilates using small equipment items (such as a ball or foam roller), exam preparation and theoretical exam in form of a written test.

The practical exam will be a 25 minute teaching sample that needs to be submitted as a video recording.

Prerequisite for admission to the practical examination: 10 hours of observation mat training in different studios with proof of attendance and successful completion of the theoretical exam.

The written theoretical examination will take place on last day of the teacher training.

Maximum number of participants is limited to 8!

Individual alternative examination date 145 Euro.

Individual preparation for the exam can be arranged upon request (fee by agreement).
